Pride Plumbing was called out for an odor coming from the water at a bathroom sink. We first tested the water coming from the water heater but did not detect an odor in it. Next, we removed the bathroom sink's aerator and discovered mold and mildew in it. We cleaned it the best we could and reinstalled it. We advised the customer to take out the aerator and let it soak in vinegar about once every six months.
Pride Plumbing came out and changed out the whips on a Bradford White water heater. We removed the flex lines from the water heater and then used PEX piping and fittings to tie the water heater back in to the main water line. We tested for leaks when the work was completed.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a non-working 46-gallon electric American E61-50L-045DV lowboy water heater with a new 50-gallon electric Bradford White lowboy model. This included removing and disposing of the old water heater; and installing the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit's electrical connections, ensuring that the unit was properly vented, and setting it to its appropriate operating temperature.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a 40-gallon electric water heater with a new 40-gallon electric Rheem PROE40-M2-RH95 650265 model. This included removing and disposing of the old water heater; and installing the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a new brass drain valve, wiring up the electrical connections, ensuring that the unit was properly vented, and setting it to its appropriate operating temperature. We also took a water sample and sent it off to be tested.
Pride Plumbing was called out for an A.O. Smith water heater that wasn't supplying consistent hot water. We flushed the water heater and advised the customer to monitor its performance. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the unit with a new 40-gallon electric Rheem model. This would include removing and disposing of the old water heater; installing the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit’s electrical connections, ensuring that the unit was properly vented, and setting it to its appropriate operating temperature.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a toilet with multiple issues with a new Gerber Viper model. This included inspecting and cleaning the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line.
Pride Plumbing came out and cut and capped off the CPVC water supply lines to an A.O. Smith hot water heater.
